On April 21st, join the Manhattan Beach Art Center and Gallery 208 in celebrating surf culture beyond the surface. The two concurrent exhibitions, Swell(at the Manhattan Beach Arts Center) and Hot Batch(at Gallery 208), will present artworks that are inspired in some measure of surfing. An exploration of the broader cultural context, craftsmanship and artistry of surfing will underpin the curation at both venues.
Please join us for the exhibition openings on Friday, April 21 starting at the Manhattan Beach Arts Center from 5:00 PM to 7::00 PM and then continuing at Gallery 208 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
